Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. President James Lentz plans to stick to his guns and tell skeptical lawmakers Tuesday that the company's unwanted acceleration problems do not stem from electronic defects, a copy of his testimony shows. Lentz's reiteration of Toyota's longstanding position suggests that top company executives were unmoved by sharp criticism of that stance Monday by House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Henry Waxman.
Perhaps sensing that it's at risk of going the way of the carbureted big-block and leaded gasoline, the United States Postal Service is apparently willing to try anything to boost its bottom line. Though we're sure its recently announced line of postal worker-inspired apparel will be a runaway (and runway) success, we're glad to see the USPS reaching out to the automotive-enthusiast community with a new set of limited-edition stamps that commemorate the American muscle car. Citroen C4 Aircross tease
We weren’t expecting the teaser photo we had for a new Citroen this morning – the Citroen C4 Aircross. So what is it? The logical assumption is that it’s going to be a rufty-tufty, semi-off-road version of the C4, with a jacked-up suspension and lots of add-on plastic bits to make the C4 Aircross better able to take on the rigours of the urban jungle.
